Don’t Like Abortion Or Gun Confiscation? Don’t Shop Here

Want to season your food? The folks Penzeys can help. As a national spice retailer, they can hook you up with the perfect flavors. Want to disarm crime victims and support America’s largest abortion chain?

They can help with that too.

According its Facebook page, Penzeys is driven by “kindness,” which is why it raises money for Planned Parenthood. Unfortunately, Timothy Smith’s 13-year-old stepdaughter didn’t find much kindness when she was brought there.

Smith took her to a Denver-area Planned Parenthood facility after getting her pregnant. While Colorado’s Department of Human Services warns that it’s a sign of abuse when a child under 14 “becomes pregnant or contracts a venereal disease,” staff weren’t concerned: one later admitted under oath that “being thirteen and pregnant alone is not a red flag” there. And thanks to their no- questions-asked approach to abortion, Smith was able to hide his crime and keep raping his victim. What’s even worse? Her case was far from unique.

It’s also hard to see the kindness in a late-term abortion. Planned Parenthood has 18 facilities that do abortions up to 24 weeks, and while some claim abortions are only done at that stage when medically necessary, that simply isn’t so. Dr. Anthony Levatino has performed over twelve hundred abortions (you can verify his medical license here), and in the video below, he explains what one at 24 weeks involves.

After the amniotic fluid is removed, the abortionist uses a sopher clamp — a grasping instrument with rows of sharp “teeth” — to grasp and pull the baby’s arms and legs, tearing the limbs from the child’s body. The abortionist continues to grasp intestines, spine, heart, lungs, and any other limbs or body parts. The most difficult part of the procedure is usually finding, grasping and crushing the baby’s head. After removing pieces of the child’s skull, the abortionist uses a curette to scrape the uterus and remove the placenta and any remaining parts of the baby.

But the “kindness” doesn’t stop there: it also includes disarming crime victims. Penzeys wanted to ban AR-15 rifles after the Parkland shooting, although there’s little evidence that doing so would be helpful.

Far deadlier massacres have been committed with handguns, and of 15 129 murders committed in 2017, the FBI reported that only 403 (less than 2.7 percent) involved rifles of any kind. By comparison, CDC figures show that in the same year, 624 children 9 years of age and under drowned. Despite this, Penzeys isn’t pushing to ban hot tubs, pools, or plastic buckets. And unlike those things, an AR-15 can save lives.

With its light weight, mild recoil, and capacity for quick follow-up shots, the AR-15 platform has clear defensive applications, especially for women. Those attributes can also allow a single person to fend off multiple armed attackers, a fact that some Korean-American store owners proved during the LA riots; it’s tough to see the kindness in leaving them vulnerable.

For those who want high end spices without the left-wing politics, The Spice House offers an alternative. Owned by the sister of Penzeys’ founder, the company doesn’t advertise its political leanings and has even sought out conservative customers.

Penzeys says Republicans are “causing real harm” by supporting President Trump. However, if they really want to see people who are harming this country, there’s no need to look at conservatives.

They need to look in the mirror.

Planned Parenthood Eliminated Prenatal Care. Abby Johnson Explains Why

Planned Parenthood Eliminated Prenatal Care. Abby Johnson Explains Why

Live Action recently released a video as part of the Abortion Corporation series showing that Planned Parenthood doesn’t provide prenatal care. Even though Planned Parenthood affiliates advertised the service online, and representatives mentioned it publicly, almost no Planned Parenthood facilities provided it. In the Live Action investigation, callers repeatedly contacted Planned Parenthood facilities across the country and asked for prenatal care. Out of 97 facilities called, only five offered any type of service to mothers who wanted to have their babies.

When Live Action released the video above, Planned Parenthood affiliates began quietly removing advertising for prenatal care from their websites.

In an article in LifeNews, former Planned Parenthood director Abby Johnson recalls being told at a 2009 Planned Parenthood Annual Conference (attended by Planned Parenthood workers only) that prenatal care was to be eliminated as a service. Johnson’s abortion facility had never offered prenatal care, but Johnson knew of other affiliates that did. Johnson, who believed at the time that Planned Parenthood cared about women and wanted to meet their needs, was surprised to hear that prenatal care would no longer be offered. She soon found out why:

I had heard the [Planned Parenthood] Federation boast about its prenatal services when pro-life groups criticized us for the amount of abortions we provided. It turned out that PPFA decided to eliminate all Planned Parenthood Affiliates’ prenatal programs because “the prenatal patients were too cumbersome,” as a PPFA representative stated at our meeting. PPFA representatives went on to explain that women receiving prenatal care required too many visits, had too many questions, and simply called the clinic too many times.

Prenatal care was just too time-consuming. More money could be made doing abortions.

In 2014-2015, Planned Parenthood did only 0.97% of the nation’s pap smears. In the same time period, it did 1.8% of clinical breast exams. (These are manual exams, not mammograms.)

Planned Parenthood does not own a single mammogram machine and does 0% of the nation’s mammograms — yet Planned Parenthood commits more than 30 percent of the nation’s abortions. Prenatal care is not offered at Planned Parenthood for pregnant women, but abortion most certainly is.
