Democratic presidential hopeful Mike Bloomberg has long advocated for abortion. The former mayor won praise from NARAL in 2002 for demanding that it be made a standard part of OB-GYN instruction in New York City’s hospitals.
But according to at least one employee, abortion wasn’t just a political issue for him; she says it was part of his work environment too.

Sekiko Garrison worked for Bloomberg’s financial data firm before filing a sexual harassment lawsuit in 1997. Among other accusations, Garrison claims Bloomberg told her to “kill it” when she announced her pregnancy. He was allegedly angry that too many women had taken maternity leave.
Bloomberg ultimately settled with Garrison, along with two other women who also brought sexual harassment suits.
Apparently old habits die hard, as Bloomberg has made supporting abortion an important part of his campaign. He’s pledged to increase its availability and force taxpayers to foot the bill.
While that might seem extreme, it isn’t unusual for his party. Aside from Tulsi Gabard, every Democrat running for president says abortion should be legal up until birth. Some, like South Bend, Indiana’s Mayor Pete Buttigeg say late-term abortion is only done when a mother is at risk, but the facts prove otherwise.
Beth Vial knows all about that: last year, Vial did an interview with the Associated Press about having an abortion at six and a half months. The reason? She got pregnant in February but claimed to have not noticed until late July.
Vial opted for a late-term abortion despite couples seeking to adopt outnumbering available infants. What’s more, she isn’t the only one to do so.

A 2013 study by the Guttmacher Institute found that the majority of women who have abortions after twenty weeks did so for personal or financial reasons. Dr. Anthony Levatino is a practicing obstetrician-gynecologist who has done over twelve hundred abortions. In the video below, he explains how one is performed at twenty weeks.
After the amniotic fluid is removed, the abortionist uses a sopher clamp — a grasping instrument with rows of sharp “teeth” — to grasp and pull the baby’s arms and legs, tearing the limbs from the child’s body. The abortionist continues to grasp intestines, spine, heart, lungs, and any other limbs or body parts. The most difficult part of the procedure is usually finding, grasping and crushing the baby’s head. After removing pieces of the child’s skull, the abortionist uses a curette to scrape the uterus and remove the placenta and any remaining parts of the baby.
As you read words like "tearing" and "crushing," keep in mind that there’s evidence a baby can feel pain by this point.
While some will argue that preborn babies aren't alive, Michael Bloomberg isn't among them. Judging by his alleged comments, he knows that abortion kills a child.
He just doesn't care.
