Louis Farrakhan

Cory Booker Attacks Conservatives But Wouldn’t Rule Out Meeting Farrakhan

Cory Booker Attacks Conservatives But Wouldn’t Rule Out Meeting Farrakhan

When it comes to bigotry, Sen. Cory Booker has strong feelings. He claims to have cried “tears of rage” upon hearing that President Trump allegedly made negative comments about certain countries. During Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s confirmation hearings, Booker grilled the nominee over his Christian beliefs and demanded to know what he thought about gays and Muslims. Obviously the New Jersey Democrat simply won’t stand for racism or intolerance.

Unless it’s from Louis Farrakhan.

At a summer event, Booker indicated that he’s “very familiar” with Farrakhan and wouldn’t rule out meeting with him, stating, “I’ve heard Minister Farrakhan’s speeches for a lot of my life.” However, Booker didn’t specify which speeches he listened to. Was it the speech in which Farrakhan castigated whites for being “devils” who “oppose the teachings of God?” Or the sermons that damned Jews as “wicked,” “Satanic,” and “my enemy?” How about the one that compared them to “termites? Perhaps it was when he praised Hitler as “a very great man.”

If he did meet with Farrakhan, Booker would hardly be the first Democrat to do so. Barack Obama posed for a picture with Farrakhan and Maxine Waters has physically embraced him.

But the connections don't stop there: he told Ilhan Omar not to apologize for anti-Semitic comments while fellow representative Rashida Tlaib once wrote for a publication owned by the Nation of Islam. She also subscribed to an Instagram account that compared Jews to rats

Of course, Farrakhan isn't the only hate-figure to have a prominent role in Democratic politics; Al Sharpton is another. In 1995, Sharpton organized protests against the Jewish-owned Freddy’s Fashion Mart, pledging to “make that cracker suffer” and condemning the proprietors as “white interlopers.” The protests stopped only stopped when one of Sharpton's followers killed seven people and burned the store down. Still, that hasn't stopped Democrats from seeking his approval. Here's Beto O’Rourke speaking next to him:

One of the questions Booker asked of Mike Pompeo was whether he believed being gay is a "perversion." He doesn't need to ask how Louis Farrakhan feels about homosexuality--the Nation of Islam leader has made his thoughts clear. What isn't clear?

Why anyone should take Cory Booker seriously.

Democrat Race Baiting: “This Is Not Going To Be The Country Of White People.”

Democrat Race Baiting: “This Is Not Going To Be The Country Of White People.”

In 2018, the US Census Bureau estimated that sixty point seven percent of America’s population was white. When you include white-identifying Hispanics, that number jumps to seventy-six point six. If you’re one of them, then Rep. Ilhan Omar has a message for you.

You’re not welcome here.

While speaking on Capitol Hill, Omar declared, “This is not going to be the country of the xenophobics. This is not going to be the country of white people.” First off, it’s curious that she would link the terms “xenophobics” and “white people.” After all, the FBI reports that whites are actually underrepresented when it comes to committing hate crimes and interracial violence in general.  But to suggest that an entire race of people simply don’t belong in America would be shocking—if it came from anyone else. For Omar and her friends, it’s par for the course.

Omar received praise for a series of anti-Semitic comments from both David Duke and Louis Farrakhan. Duke is a former KKK leader, while Farrakhan has called Jews “wicked,” “Satanic,” “termites,” and “my enemy.” What’s more, she isn’t the only one to catch Farrakhan’s eye.

RELATED NEWS: Ilhan Omar's 9/11 Comments Were Nothing New

Long-time member of Congress Maxine Waters has physically embraced the Nation of Islam Leader and Rep. Rashida Tlaib has written articles for his organization. The latter also  subscribed to an instagram account that that compared Jews to rats.

But it’s not just members of Congress who associate with bigots--Democratic presidential candidates do as well. Below is a video of Beto O’Rourke calling for reparations at an event organized by Al Sharpton.

Sharpton once lead protests against a Jewish-owned business during which he labeled the proprietors as “white interlopers” and pledged to “make that cracker suffer.” The protests ended when a demonstrator fire-bombed the establishment, killing seven people. Four years earlier, rioters murdered a Jewish man and left others beaten. Sharpton comments were, shall we say, less than helpful: “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house.”

While Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib are billed as "fresh new faces," the truth is, they're actually part of a long tradition: from Woodrow Wilson resegregating the federal government to Lyndon Johnson complaining about “n—ers,” Democrats have a history of exploiting racial animus. The good news? Republicans have traditions of our own.

The GOP is the party that demanded abolition of slavery, civil rights and fought the Ku Klux Klan---a legacy that President Trump continues to embrace. In his inaugural address, he declared, "When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice."

It's a message America needs to hear.

Candace Owens Isn’t A Racist, But Here’s Who Is

Candace Owens Isn’t A Racist, But Here’s Who Is

Conservative activist Candace Owens is the communications director for Turning Point USA and founder of the Blexit movement. Owens was also the victim of a hate crime, something she recently testified about before the House Oversight Committee. During the hearing, Democrat Ted Lieu tried to discredit Owens by playing “the first 30 seconds of a statement she made about Adolf Hitler,” and alleged that she was trying to “legitimize” him.

Owens explained that she was answering a question about whether Hitler was a nationalist, and contended that the German dictator shouldn’t be characterized as one since “a nationalist would not kill their own people.” Before doing so, she stated that Lieu had taken her words out of context because “he believes that black people are stupid and will not pursue the full clip in its entirety.” Committee chairman Jerrold Nadler interrupted Owens and told her not to speak “disparagingly to a member of the committee.” She was having none of it:

That Lieu would pull this stunt isn’t surprising. After all, false allegations of racism are a common tactic on the left. But if the congressman really does want to find people who are legitimizing Hitler, then there’s a place he can look.

His own party.

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan has called Hitler “a very great man,” while describing Jews as “wicked,” “Satanic,” “termites,” and “my enemy.” That isn’t a problem for some high profile Democrats, with Rep. Maxine Waters physically embracing Farrakhan and then Sen. Barack Obama posing for a picture with him in 2005.

House freshman Rashida Tlaib is also tied to Farrakhan, having written articles for the Nation of Islam. What’s more, she subscribed to an Instagram account that compared Jews to rats and blamed them for 9/11:

Not that Farrakhan is the only figure with a record of hate; the Rev. Al Sharpton has one too. In 1991, anti-Semitic rioters murdered a Jewish man and left others beaten. Sharpton’s comment? “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house.”

While leading protests against the Jewish-owned Freddy’s Fashion Mart, Sharpton pledged to “make that cracker suffer,” condemning the proprietors as “white interlopers.” His protest ended when a participant killed seven people and burned the store down. However, this wasn’t enough to keep Sharpton from being welcomed into the Obama White House. It also doesn’t stop Democratic presidential candidates from seeking his approval. Here’s Beto O’Rourke standing next to Sharpton and calling for reparations:

Democrats can play back as much footage of Candace Owens as they want, but it won’t show the bigotry that they’re alleging. Something that will?

A mirror.

The Left’s Favorite Racist

The Left’s Favorite Racist

In his 2016 film Hillary’s America, Dinesh D’Souza examined how Democrats have used racism to their advantage. Sometimes they’ve been subtle. Other times?

Not so much:

Library of Congress

From Woodrow Wilson resegregating the federal government to Lyndon Johnson complaining about “n—ers,” the party has a long history of celebrating bigots, and it continues to this day. Who’s their favorite? Well, that’s a tough question.

After all, there are plenty to choose from.

Louis Farrakhan has damned Jews as “wicked,” “Satanic,” “termites,” and “my enemy” while calling Hitler “a very great man.” Still, that hasn’t stopped Democrats from embracing him:

Women’s March organizers Linda Sarour and Tamika Mallory also embrace Farrakhan. They aren’t fans of whites or Jews either. Sarsour has told supporters not to “humanize” Israelis and has blamed her problems on the Jewish media. Meanwhile, Mallory is alleged to have bullied a Jewish woman and made anti-Semitic remarks at an early Women’s March meeting.

Another possibility is House Democrat Rashida Tlaib. In addition to having written articles for the Nation of Islam, Tlaib subscribed to an Instagram account that compared Jews to rats and blamed them for 9/11:

In terms of sheer star power, it’s tough to beat Rep. Ilhan Omar. You can see this in the way senior Democrats are willing to make excuses for her. When Omar questioned the loyalty of Jewish Americans (something that won her praise from former KKK leader David Duke), House Speaker Nancy Pelosi chalked it up to her English abilities, claiming that she “has a different experience in the use of words.” Omar is a college graduate who has lived in the US for twenty seven years.

But the strongest contender? The Rev. Al Sharpton. Long a fixture in Democratic politics, Sharpton hasn’t just engaged in anti-white and anti-Jewish rhetoric--he’s been linked to physical violence. Some of it has been deadly.

In 1991, anti-Semitic rioters murdered a Jewish man and left others beaten; Sharpton was unsympathetic, announcing, “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house.” Four years later, Sharpton organized protests against the Jewish-owned Freddy’s Fashion Mart, describing its proprietors as “white interlopers” and promising to “make that cracker suffer.” The demonstrations stopped when a protester shot the store up and then set it on fire–killing 7 people in the process. None of this kept him from being welcomed into the Obama White House.

And it doesn’t stop him from being an influential figure within the Democratic party today. The Los Angeles Times published a piece last year called, “For Democrats, all paths to the White House run through the House of Sharpton.” It detailed how left-wing politicians “publicly genuflect” before Sharpton, with Beto O’Rourke, Elizabeth Warren, Andrew Yang, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Julian Castro all speaking at an event he organized. Here’s footage of Beto promising reparations:

When Congressman Steve King made positive comments about white nationalism, the response was swift: Republicans forcefully condemned King and stripped him of his committee assignments. For them, the idea of latching onto someone with Sharpton’s track record is absurd. For Democrats?

It’s tradition.

Would You Embrace A Man Who Calls Jews “Satanic?” Democrats Have.

Would You Embrace A Man Who Calls Jews “Satanic?” Democrats Have.

During the 2016 campaign, former Klansman David Duke made headlines when he endorsed Donald Trump for president. While at first expressing confusion on who Duke was, Trump went on to publicly reject Duke’s endorsement, declaring, “I disavow.”

Of course, Trump isn’t the only one to have by a known bigot reach out to him. A number of Democrats and liberal activists have been approached by someone who calls Jews “Satanic” and “my enemy” while praising Hitler as “a very great man.” Their response?

They embraced him.

Maxine Waters, did anyway: the California congresswoman was seen putting her arms around Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. In 2005, then Sen. Barack Obama posed for a picture with him (the photographer agreed not release it). Cory Booker said at a campaign event this year that he was “very familiar” with Farrakhan and would be willing to meet with him.

Women’s March co-president Tamika D. Mallory has defended her decision to attend an event hosted by Farrakhan, saying that she has done so for years. Fellow organizer Linda Sarsour has ties to him as well; she’s also endorsed violence against women who criticize Islam.

Farrakhan isn’t the only racist that the left doesn’t have a problem with. In 1991, anti-Semitic rioters murdered a Jewish man and left others beaten; the Rev. Al Sharpton was unsympathetic, announcing, “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house.” Four years later, Sharpton organized protests against the Jewish-owned Freddy’s Fashion Mart, describing its proprietors as “white interlopers.” The demonstrations stopped when a protester shot the store up and then set it on fire–killing 7 people in the process. None of this stopped Sharpton from being welcomed into the Obama White House.

In his response to last year's State of the Union address, Rep. Joe Kennedy III mentioned how Democrats “steadfastly say, black lives matter.” While black lives do indeed matter, there’s good evidence that the Black Lives Matter movement contributes to getting them killed. It also includes people like Yusra Khogali; Khogali has described whites as “defects” and “subhuman.”

And speaking of David Duke, he recently praised House Democrat Ilhan Omar after she made a series of anti-Semitic remarks. Not that Omar is unique: fellow Democrat Rashida Tlaib once wrote for a publication owned by the Nation of Islam. She also subscribed to an Instagram account that compared Jews to rats and blamed them for 9/11. Both congresswomen have been defended by Linda Sarsour, who says that conservatives are attempting to “marginalize” them.

Rep. Tlaib likes to accuse Republicans of being racists, but the truth is, she and others don't like her don't need to look across the aisle to find bigotry. They need to look in the mirror.
